The Bee Movie
The entire family watched The Bee Movie last night on HBO. Unfortunately, Keisha fell asleep on the movie and Nicole wasn't paying that much attention (well, she's just a year and 7 months old) but I really ended up liking it.
The story is about this bee who dreams of more to his life. He just doesn't want to be like every other bee and do what every other bee does. He breaks their law in talking to a human whom he befriends, and life takes an unexpected turn for him that affects not only the humans, but all of the bees in the world.
The movie is well made, and the animation and effects are also great. I'm probably going to buy a DVD of this movie so that Keisha can watch it again.

Keisha's First Field Trip Part 3
Here are pictures of Keisha at the Manila Zoo on her first field trip. Look how brave she is with all those animals!

Keisha's First Field Trip Part 2
Here are pictures of Keisha outside the Circle coaster she rode with her daddy on her first field trip. There's actually a bit of trivia with the coaster - the tour guides actually call it the Presidential Coaster because our president Gloria Macapagal - Arroyo is said to have rode that exact same coaster.

An Award for Keisha
Keisha is the Top 5 for the whole of Kinder 1 students in her school for this 3rd Quarter. We are so happy and proud for Keisha since she enjoys school and is learning at the same time. This would also be the first time she's included in the school's honor roll.
But like what I always say to Henry and my mom in law. I'm not really after the medal (although I am very very proud - don't get me wrong) but I'm after making sure that Keisha is actually learning.
Now I'm really excited about how Keisha will do the following school year.

The First Field Trip
Today is Keisha's first field trip at school. Here's their tour itinerary:
For Preschool students:
For Preschool students:
- Amalgamated Specialties
- Hapee Toothpaste
- Manila Ocean Park
- Kinder Zoo / Manila Zoo
Henry's going to the trip with Keisha. Being a tour guide and all, he's the one who knows a lot more than I do with regards to the trip and all. I would have loved to go with Keisha, but I have work on that day and it's too short of a notice for me to file a leave now.
I asked Henry to take the camera with him and take lots of pictures of the places Keisha will visit. I certainly hopes she enjoys this day, and I'm looking forward to the stories they'll bring home and the pictures they've taken.
