Coughing and Sneezing

Oh well, what can I say?

Keisha is coughing, and Nicole is down with the snuffles. I guess it's because of the hot summer climate that we have, and what makes it worse is the fact that nights are cold and the mornings are unbelievably hot.

It's a good thing though that none of them have fever, and they seem to be their normal, energetic selves, and eating the same as they always do.

EZ Insurance

Thinking ahead is something that is of utmost importance. Whether you're single or married with kids, getting complete coverage gives you peace of mind and lets you sleep better during the nights.

Health insurance is quite common, as it is very important as well as life insurance. Accidents can happen, and its hard to be caught without cash during an emergency. When its your kids that get sick, its a lot more harder, especially if you find out that your current insurance company does not cover 100% of all types of sicknesses.

If you have a car, auto insurance is something you should also consider. Just in case you get in an accident or if for any reason your car gets damaged, it is also good if your car is fully protected. If it's your means of getting to work, taking your kids to school, or is part of your daily routine in traveling, then it is best to get auto insurance for your car.

Homeowner's insurance is a serious matter as well. If you own your house, a complete and comprehensive insurance should follow as well. Losing your home to a fire or a natural disaster can be a devastating experience, but with insurance to help you move on, life does get a bit easier.

Summer Classes or Not

If there's a parent reading this, please do shed some light on my concern.

Our daugther Keisha as you all know, turned 4 last October 2007. We're going to enroll her in preschool this June. She knows how to identify colors, write her first name, and can also write some letters that you ask her to write. But like every child, school seems a bit daunting to her.

My husband and I are thinking about enrolling her for summer classes in the same school. We thought about it so that she'd be familiar with her school surroundings, and also so that she'd get a head start in learning. I guess bottom line is that, we just want her to be as prepared as possible for June.

Do you think we should enroll her for summer classes or should we let her just enjoy the rest of the summer?

Payday Cash Loans

In addition to what I wrote earlier about getting a cash advance, we were also thinking about getting a payday loan. For those of you who are not familiar with what a payday loan is, it provides you with an unsecured, short-term cash advance until your payday. People who are getting loans cover small, unexpected expenses while avoiding costly bounced-check fees and late payment penalties. A payday cash loan is is great when you are short on cash and you are caught between paychecks.

To sign up and to qualify for a payday loan is quick and easy, and normally there are no papers and documents that you need to fax, but it depends on the loan data. If a lender or a creditor approves you for a cash advance, they will be depositing your loan straight into your personal bank account, be it a savings or a checking account. There are also several flexible payment options that you can avail of, not to mention the fact that the entire process is totally discrete.

If you think about it, a payday loan is indeed a good supplement to cash when you need it in between payday loans, or to buy that really cool gadget you just can't wait to get your hands on. But of course, always do consider that it is an obligation that you should keep, and you should consider the payment options. Also, before getting a loan, always plan beforehand, whether or not the loan gets approved, if you can pay it, and how.

People at Work

Here's our original team (minus Zhey, Mae and Shirley) before we got reshuffled at work. See if you can find me!

Getting a Cash Advance

Henry and I are thinking of getting a cash loan for Keisha's enrollment in school this June. Or maybe even payday loans. To be perfectly honest, when Keisha was hospitalized for mercury ingestion, it seriously wrecked our budget. We had spent the money we were saving for Keisha's school for the hospital bills, and the medicines and tests that we had to complete for her.

We are considering getting a cash loan that is easy to acquire - like without the hassles and all. If the loan could also be applied and completed for over the internet, it would also be great since time is of complete essence to us. I wouldn't want to spend an entire day just falling in line and filling out forms when I could be at the mall with my kids.

It would also be great if the loan could be deposited into our bank account as I would not want to carry a huge amount of cash and then just get mugged or something. It would also be cool if the entire process of getting the loan would be kept private - like no one but me and the loan company would know that I had applied for the loan.

But a loan is still a loan. We are hoping that we can manage to save enough before June comes so that we might not even need to get a loan at all.

Keisha's Day at SM

Yesterday, Henry and Keisha picked me up from work and she got to meet some of my officemates. Then we went to SM North and Keisha rode about a dozen rides, ate at McDonalds, and then slept on the bus on the way home.

These are exactly the days that I wish I had more of. Since I render overtime almost everyday since we are preparing financially for Keisha's schooling this June, I wish I had more time to spend with them. At least, as Henry said, we can take it one day at a time.

On Debt Consolidation

Yeah, I know. I wrote about getting an auto loan and payday loans, and now I'm writing about debt consolidation. It's a bit weird, huh?

I'd like to think that debts are not a bad thing. However, it is a totally different thing if you fail to pay your debt on time and if the loan becomes delinquent. It would not only affect your credit rating, but also limit your chances of getting another loan. Which if you think about it in this way, just in case you find yourself in serious need of money, there would be a very few or almost none at all, creditors who would trust you enough to lend you money again.

A bad debt is something that we do not want to have or find ourselves with. A bad debt can lead to bad experiences with collections agencies, can permanently damage your credit rating, and can potentially lead you with no one to run to in case you need cash badly. Debts can be a good ting, but think it thoroughly before you actually go ahead and get one. Think about if you really need it, and also think about how exactly you are going to be able to pay for the debt. Try to compute your disposable income and your expenses plus the payments for your loan or debt. Also make sure that you can pay the debt, and that the terms of payment are mutually beneficial for you and your creditor.

Keisha's Going to School

Leslie and I have been quite busy choosing a school for Keisha. We already have a couple of schools in mind, but we haven't decided on which one to enroll Keisha in. We were thinking about going with a particular school as it offers a summer class that would start next week, and we had hoped in enrolling her for summer classes, just so that when the school year officially opens, she's already familiar and acquainted with the school environment and make new friends as well.

The only concern that we have is who will take Keisha to school and pick her up at the same time. Although it's just a short distance away from where we live, we're concerned that our schedules might just not jive with hers. Also, with my mom going away for two weeks, we're going to be quite busy with the chores, Nicole, and Keisha as well.

I guess my wife and I would have to talk things over a bit thoroughly, and we'll update you on that soon.

Easy Payday Loan

Since we're talking about loans, I also wanted to share this service or website rather, that allows you to get money hassle - free in between pay dates. The site is called Easy Online Payday Loan and they do have a really fast and simple form and requirements in order for you to qualify for a payday loan.

The requirements for you to qualify for a payday loan is pretty simple - you need to be at least 18 years of age, have and maintain a regular source of income, and you must also have a direct deposit system set up with your local bank. If you do qualify, the amount you loaned gets deposited directly into your bank account - no need to wait in line just to get your check.

You can even apply for the payday loan online - so no one needs to know that you applied and took out a loan! These payday loans are perfect for the tight days in between paychecks, or simply just to give you cash for that new little gadget that you're dying to get your hands on. So what are you waiting for? It's so easy with Easy Online Payday Loan!

Getting the Best Auto Loan

One of the goals my wife and I have for this year is to make sure that this year does not end with us still living in an apartment and that our eldest daughter Keisha will not be going to school commuting. Since we're planning on getting a housing loan, we mutually decided that we might as well apply for an auto loan as well.

There are a lot of establishments that allow one to apply and if approved, get an auto loan. But a loan is a loan - and I would not want to be stuck into a loan whose terms are something that I do not understand, like, or may just downright stink. I want to make sure that the company whom I will be applying the auto loan from would be a reputable one, and that they would have a customer service department willing to help, that they would not be charging hidden fees, nor would they be like vampires waiting to squeeze you dry down to the last penny.

I also would not want to find ourselves in a position wherein we cannot pay for the loan anymore, and that collections agents would be calling us day and night. Terms of the loan should be flexible enough to fit our budget, yet we do not want to end up paying for the loan for years and years. I guess my wife and I would just have to look around more before we apply for an auto loan.

When Keisha was Hospitalized

This is a picture of Keisha when she was confined in the hospital for mercury ingestion. She still has her dextrose on, and is sound asleep.
