Going Smoothly

Keisha's been doing OK so far...My husband and I actually took her to a different hospital and had her checked by a pediatrician who also specializes in poison related issues. She said that since the first 24 hours after the incident are the most critical hours and Keisha passed those with flying colors, she was pretty much out of the shade.

Eventually and over time, it may be hard to predict what the future will hold for Keisha. One thing though that the doctor assured us is that the mercury she had ingested was thankfully not enough to cause some heavy, serious damage.

I am so thankful to God that even though I haven't been honestly taking much time to thank Him for all of His blessings, He did not let us down when we needed Him.
